Cracow Fashion Awards 2010

Collections created by more than 50 fashion design students went down the runway during Cracow Fashion Awards 2010 - diploma show of Cracow School of Art and Fashion Design graduates. This year's students collections range from classic elegance and avant-gard to casual street looks. Some choose to present geometrical silhouettes, with sharp-shoulders and asymmetrical lines, and some took more feminine approach showing flowy dresses or sparkly evening looks. Many designers have showed a very modern, minimal street wear collections proving their creativity and individualism. All designs were judged by fashion industry professionals.
The Main Prize winner was Aneta Zielinska. Her "Echo" collection was inspired by the movie "Pianist". The designs she presented were classic and elegant yet imaginative. Colors, details were symbolic. An idea of reversing front and back was an unusual way to refer to the time that is behind us. Numerous prizes, internships and scholarships were given to the fallowing designers: Anna Ziemniak, Olga Kowalunas, Anastasia Kwietniowskiej, Ewa Kowalczyk, Anna Palka-Nowak, Gabriela Amonowicz, Dorota Pietruszka, Kaja Harańczyk, Marzena Podolska, Danuta Dąbrowska, Patrycja Guzik, Patrycja Łach, Anna Wendeker.
