Celebrate CommArts: An Exhibition of Work by School of Communication Arts Students
May 17, 2010 | Levent OZLER
SCAD announced "Celebrate CommArts," an exhibition by 2010 graduates of the School of Communication Arts.
"Celebrate CommArts" features work by seniors and graduate students from the five major programs within the School of Communication Arts: advertising, graphic design, illustration, illustration design and sequential art.
"In this visual age, professionals in the field of communication arts are more in demand that ever," said John Lowe, dean of the School of Communication Arts.
"With 'Celebrate CommArts,' we want to showcase the incredible talent of our students while highlighting the range and diversity within the communication arts."
The communication arts translate concepts into tangible ideas, capture viewers' interest, inform and entertain.
At SCAD, students learn to clearly communicate visual information across a variety of platforms in the constantly evolving world of art and design.
The exhibition is free and open to the public.
