IDSA Extends Deadline for Design of the Decade Awards Competition

Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) has extended the deadline for regular registration for its Design of the Decade awards competition to August 28 and late registration to September 3.
Design of the Decade recognizes and celebrates the positive impact that design has on business and society.
Masco Corporation's chief design officer, Charles L. Jones, FIDSA, will chair the program and lead the jury.
The jury will feature top design executives representing design consultancies, design companies and corporations, including: David Butler, IDSA, vice president of global design, Coca-Cola; Chris Bangle, BMW's former director of design; Brian Walker, president and CEO of Herman Miller; Ayse Birsel, IDSA, president, Birsel + Seck LLC; Sohrab Vossoughi, IDSA, founder and president, Ziba and Marc Greuther, chief curator, The Henry Ford.
The competition is open to anyone who has designed a product introduced for sale anywhere in the world between January 1, 2000 and December 31, 2009.
There is no limit to the number of entries a company may submit; however, each entry must have its own entry kit.
