Turner Promotes Finn Arnesen

Turner Broadcasting has promoted Finn Arnesen to senior vice-president of original animation and acquisitions for Cartoon Network, Boomerang and Toonami.
He will also take on the role of international head of programme production with responsibility for all areas outside the US.
Tina McCann, the senior vice-president and general manager for Turner Entertainment Networks International, said: "Finn is one of the original Cartoon Network Europe founders.
"He has been an invaluable contributor and one of the key architects of our highly successful animation brands throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Finn's expertise in the world of animation is unrivalled in the business."
Cartoon Network has committed $500m (£273m) over five years to producing original animated programming, much of which will be developed and produced at the Cartoon Network Studios in Burbank, California.
Cartoon Network, Cartoon Network Plus, Boomerang and Toonami form Turner Broadcasting System Europe and together make up the highest rated group of children's channels in the UK.
