Messe Frankfurt - Tendence Lifestyle Completes Second Edition

On August 31, Tendence Lifestyle, the fall consumer goods fair produced by Messe Frankfurt, completed its second edition since it was restructured a year ago.

Merchandise was presented in “Lifestyle&# 8221; divisions named Joy, Emotion, Modern Living, and Function, rather than by product category as is done at the winter fair, Ambiente. Messe officials were keeping their fingers crossed that visitors to the first Tendence Lifestyle weren’t turned off by the show’s reorganization, and that they would return to this year’s fair.

They were somewhat relaxed by mid-fair when vice president Nicolette Naumann told us that attendance was on track to reach 100,000 visitors. “Tendence Lifestyle is a show for looking, getting ideas,” a Messe press officer told us. “Ambiente is a show for buying.” Tendence Lifestyle exhibited in all halls of the Frankfurt fairgrounds, except for halls 2 and 10, and the top floor of hall 9.
