New Acer Notebooks With Folio Design

Acer India has expanded its notebook range with the new Folio design-based TM 2300 and TM 4000 series.

The notebooks, coming in a range of metallic colors, feature a stylish Acer logo plaque, latch-less design and an ergonomic keyboard with a 5-degree curve.

The TravelMate 2300 weighs about 2.72 kg and runs on an Intel Celeron M 1.3 GHz processor, 512 Kb L2 Cache, 256 DDR333 memory upgradeable to 1 GB, 14.1" LCD monitor, 40 GB HDD, DVD/CDR-W combo, 56 Kbps modem, Intel Extreme Graphics 2 technology with up to 64 MB VRAM and Microsoft Windows XP. The TravelMate 2300 is priced at Rs. 44,999 + taxes.

The TravelMate 4000 weighs about 2.91 kg and comprises of an Intel Pentium M 1.5 GHz processor based on Intel's 90nm Dothan processor. It also features a 2 MB L2 Cache, 256 of DDR333 memory upgradeable to 2 GB, 15" LCD monitor, 40 GB HDD, DVD/CDR-W combo, 56 Kbps modem, Intel Extreme Graphics 2 technology with up to 64 MB VRAM and Microsoft Windows XP.

The notebook also features Intel PRO/Wireless 2200B network connection 802.11b and g Wi-Fi Certified solution with Acer's SignalUp technology support and CCX compatibility. The TravelMate 4000 is priced at Rs. 58, 999 + taxes.
