Co-hosted with Harvard University's Graduate School of Design on April 23-24, the Design Competition Conference will assess the current state of competitions and propose ways to creatively engage broader communities, develop innovative incentives for greater designer participation, and address issues aimed at improving people's daily lives.
The conference launches with a keynote panel moderated by Cathleen McGuigan, Architectural Record; Craig Dykers, Snøhetta; Mohsen Mostafavi, Dean, Harvard Graduate School of Design; and Francine Houben, Mecanoo.
The two-day event is co-chaired by Jerold S. Kayden, Professor, Harvard Graduate School of Design and David van der Leer, Executive Director, Van Alen Institute.
