The United States Mint has announced a public competition to design the 2018 Breast Cancer Awareness Commemorative Coins. The competition offers an exciting opportunity for American artists to design a coin in recognition of the fight against breast cancer.
For each of the three coins sold, surcharges are authorized to be paid to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation for the purpose of furthering breast cancer research funded by the Foundation.
The competition is open to U.S. citizens and permanent residents who are at least 18 years of age or older. The deadline for applications is October 17, 2016.
