Do you have a great design or invention that the rest of Australia needs to hear about?
ABC TV is on a national hunt for innovators, inventors and designers that have developed a new product, an invention or innovation. We'd like to feature your creation as part of a national competition in the search for the best invention/innovation in 2005!
Hosted by James O'Loghlin, 'New Inventors' is back for it's 2nd year started on Wednesday the 9th of February 2005. Think the 'Curiosity Show' with a more aesthetic bent...Professor Julius Sumner Miller meets Martha Stewart...Victoria Spring meets Joe the gadget man.
The program will feature the creative and inspired minds of Australia, young design students through to backyard boffins and passionate people who have found fresh new ways to view the daily occurrence of life.
We are looking for inventions and innovation in all fields, from domestic appliances through to products for the workplace, from building to leisure, rural and urban based ideas.
If you fit this criterion and relish the chance to enter your invention into this competition please complete the application form on our website abc.net.au/newinventors.
Conditions of Entry: Your product must have a working prototype. The prototype must be something we can see and touch. The product will not have been mass produced. It might have had a small production run or be ready for manufacture.
