Top Interior Design Honors Awarded to Slifer Designs of Vail, Colorado, Leading Interior Design Firm for Resort Communities
Slifer Designs of Vail, CO, earns top industry honors for interior design excellence for premier mountain resort properties in Colorado's Vail Valley and California's Lake Tahoe. For more than 20 years, Slifer Designs has been setting the trends for luxury mountain resort properties, both residential and commercial.
Slifer Designs of Vail, Colorado was recently awarded two Gold Awards and One Silver Award for excellence in interior design for work on resort properties in Colorado's Vail Valley and California's Lake Tahoe. Taking coveted Gold Awards bestowed by the American Resort Development Association (ARDA) are Slifer Designs' Old Greenwood Lodge in Lake Tahoe, a facility following strict environmental and "green" guidelines, and the sales center at Cordillera Golf Club, a premier resort near Vail, Colorado. Country Club of the Rockies, also in the Vail Valley, received a Silver award for the redesign of its restaurant and clubhouse.
ARDA is a national organization representing the vacation ownership and resort development industries and gives these awards to architects, designers and developers. The competition for ARDA's interior design excellence awards is very tight in all categories, according to Slifer Designs' vice president of interior architecture and hospitality, James D. Dawkins, AIA.
