The Norwegian company NIT (Norske Informasjons Terminaler) has been awarded the Interactive Kiosk Excellence Award for "Best Hardware/Enclosure Design for a Kiosk Deployment" for its Vision Public VoIP Kiosk Webphone.

NIT's Vision is the ultimate telephone and internet kiosk and its endless possibilities give a whole new dimension to telephony.

Vision offers the user IP telephony (VoIP) with web camera functions, access to the Internet and e-mail, a live information and marketing channel, and flexible payment methods.

NIT uses 3M touch screens for its Vision information and voice-over-interne t protocol (VoIP) terminals being supplied to the Norwegian telecom operator Telenor.

It is a robust and reliable multi-media telephone kiosk manufactured in Norway, with a variety of functions and extremely user-friendliness.

Vision increases access to the information and communication channels that are not usually found in public places. The kiosk is easily serviced and inexpensive to run, and its income potential is excellent, according to NIT.

Only your imagination sets the limits for the usage of Vision, the company says.

In its information NIT states: Vision sets new standards in the field of communication and information with its user-friendly touch-screen, trackball on waterproof steel keyboard or touchscreen
