Graphic Designers: Are You Putting Your Best Face Forward?
July 28, 2005 | Judith King
NewPage has the answers and the solutions.
As part of an ongoing commitment to helping graphic designers succeed beyond even their wildest imaginations, NewPage has developed Looking Marvelous as the newest addition to its The True You program.
Two components - a brochure printed on Signature True from NewPage, and a new section on the thetrueyou Web site - have been created to help designers further define themselves and learn just how effective they can be in putting their best face forward.
Not to mention what they can do to provide their customers with a fresh new look.
To create the brochure and Web site, NewPage enlisted the expertise of several prominent professionals whose opinions and advice range from body language to head shots and "how to get it all just right."
The Looking Marvelous brochure - so personalized, it actually provides a mirror on which the reader can place his or her own image - is comprised of three valuable learning guides: it illustrates what a portrait says about the subject, how to look one's best when being photographed through the use of makeup and lighting techniques, as well as information on various printing methods using 100 lb. Signature True gloss and dull text.
