Soft, sinuous and enclosing, they are made of two-coloured plastic polymer by rotational moulding.

Armchair, sofa and rocking chair are available in three versions: white outside and orange inside, red outside and black inside, or dark blue outside and light blue inside.

Exhibited in the garden at the Milan Triennial for Openairdesign, an event organised by Interni magazine, the rocking chair was also exhibited in a metal version.

Part design and part sculpture, the objects bring to mind part of an interview in which Arad said eccentric, unusual, sometimes sacrilegious.

He talked to Educational Rai some time ago:

"(...) Some of the things I do are only for functionality. Other times, however, I'm more interested in form and figure, and function is secondary in importance.

I'm not interested in whether people use these items or not; I have fun discovering the processes, what can be done with material, what kind of form to create, and in this case function is purely an alibi.

I'm not interested in arguing for one side or the other of the issue, saying 'this is not sculpture!This is design!'.

What counts is whether an object is interesting, boring, or exciting."
