Cabriolet by Patek Philippe

Cabriolet by Patek Philippe

October 19, 2005  |  Elif SUNGUR

This year's Only Watch 2005 event in Monaco showed that each unique timepiece is more stunning than the last.

One of these was the 'Cabriolet' wristwatch from Patek Philippe.

The watch is done in rose and white gold and has a manually wound caliber 215 PS movement with subsidiary seconds.

It has a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o'clock and the hour and minute hands are crafted from rose gold.

The strap is blue stingray and the hinged cover of the watch is engraved and set with precious stones.

The Starck-Mille watch may have brought in the most money (it sold for $347,000 during the auction while the Patek Philippe only brought in $146,000).
