Tokyo Designer's Week is a unique celebration of the power of good design. Designers, corporations, schools, embassies and the media gather together for 5 days of exhibitions, talks, installations and parties. This year, for the first time the focal point of the weeks activities is Jingu Gaien, a unique and beautiful open space in the heart of Tokyo.

At Jingu Gaien you will see 100% Design Tokyo, the UK's most influential design event taking place in Tokyo for the first time. Housed in an impressive temporary structure built specially for the exhibition, this is a show that is not to be missed. Alongside 100% Design is the famous Container Exhibition showcasing design ideas from some of Japan's leading corporations, the Student Exhibition, where a wealth of talented graduates have the opportunity to reveal the future direction of design, plus a music event and the 20th anniversary Totteoki & Forum.

Container Exhibition
Container Exhibition is a remarkable exhibition in Tokyo Designer's Week which is corporate branding exhibition for companies and items, using 20ft/40ft container space.

100% Design
100% Design，is the world's leading trade event for contemporary interiors products. Coming to Japan for the first time, 100% Design Tokyo presents the latest design from over 150 manufacturers and up and coming designers, hand picked by a panel of leading industry experts. 100% Design will be the largest exhibition of contemporary design ever presented in Japan. It is the only show of its kind, combining dynamic young designer-makers with world-renowned manufacturers. 100% Design Tokyo is produced by Design Association NPO of Japan in collaboration with 100% Design London.



100% Design is a must see event for design professionals. Architects, commercial specifiers, retailers and interior designers will find the latest contract and domestic furniture, lighting, accessories, wall and floor coverings, textiles, kitchens and bathrooms. 100% Design is more than simply a trade show, it is a unique event dedicated to promoting good design which means that in addition to dedicated trade days, consumers with an interest in seeing the very best in modern interiors will also be able to visit the show.



A trade show to enjoy
100% Design Tokyo will be a unique experience - it is a place to meet and greet, network and do business. NOMURA Co., Ltd working with the original designer of the London show, Tim Pyne, have created a beautiful and inspiring environment to house the wealth of talent and products on display. Visitors can enjoy a HEARTLAND at the specially designed bar, which utilises the latest LED technology from Matsushita Electric Works 　Ltd or grab a bite to eat at the DEAN & DELUCA cafe before attending one of the free talks in the seminar room.

Student exhibition
A student exhibition by 60 schools from around the world showing next generation.

Interior Totteoki
"Tokyo Interior Shop-Totteoki Exhibition"- we focus on " interior shop" which has been core part of the designer's week since it started. This year we hold the official events with many interioshops, each shop has their own " totteoki", with exhibition and shops at the main stage. Mutually, we hole this event also in Osaka, Kyoto and Nagoya.

Shop Exhibition
This year we are changing the title from [Shop Events] to [Shop Exhibition] to emphasize exhibition substance. The exhibition space metamorphoses to a party space at night.Visitors can mingle with designers.

Designer's Open Exhibition
"Fostering of designer for future generation": this is one of the purpose for design association.
During this Designer's week, designer open their studio to design students and People who is interested in design field. You would find the special exhibiton, workshop, seminar, Q&A session and have the communication time with all participants.

Professional Exhibition
Connecting manufactures and designers. Exhibit samples by designers in every field with the wish to create real products for the market place

Design Wrapping Bus
"Wrapping Bus" decorated by designers and companies can connect the main venue at Jingugaien with every shop.
