Designer Liora Manné Gets 2005 Star Salute From Fashion Institute of Technology

Designer Liora Manné will be honored at the 2005 Star Salute dinner sponsored by the Alumni Association of the Fashion Institute of Technology on Thursday, November 3, 2005 at the Rainbow Room.
The star-studded annual event honors former students and distinguished industry leaders.
Proceeds from the Star Salute Dinner benefit the Educational Development Fund, which funds scholarships and housing stipends for economically disadvantaged FIT students.
Ms. Manné will receive the honor for her "innovative patented design and manufacturing processes, her creative energy and the inspiration she provides to the design and textile industries."
FIT salutes "the glorious combination of an Israeli sabra who became a George peach, Liora embodies the best of both cultures.
The dinner will be held in the Rainbow Room, 30 Rockefeller Center, 49th between 5th & 6th Avenue, 64th Street.
