ID 2006 Annual Design Review

I.D., The International Design Magazine Call for Entries for its 52nd Annual Design Review.

One of the oldest and broadest design competitions in America, the Annual Design Review showcases the material, culture and evolution of design.

Each year, entries are reviewed by juries of leading industry practitioners, who, along with I.D.'s editorial team, focus the abundance of submissions into a clear survey of the current state of art, the result of which is published in the August issue of I.D. magazine.

The competition is open to all designers everywhere in the world, and any original project introduced between January 1, 2005 and December 31, 2005 is eligible for submission. Entries are accepted in the categories of packaging, consumer products, graphics, equipment, environments, concepts and furniture. In addition, I.D.'s staff also accepts entires in its newest category-interactive/animated media.

The jurors will choose three levels of awards in each category: Best of Category, Design Distinction and Honorable Mention. All winners will be featured in the August 2006 issue of I.D.-the Annual Design Review-and some will be showcased on the I.D. website.

I.D. magazine is America's leading publication on the art, business and culture of design. Since 1954, it has been design's premier voice, profiling today's most distinguished products, graphics, environments, interactive media and more. The winner of five National Magazine Awards, three for General Excellence, one for Special Interests and one for Design, I.D. sets the standard for design criticism.

The entry fee for the 2006 Annual Design Review is $100.

Entries must be postmarked by December 1, 2005.
