Interior Design Seeks Design Submissions
November 30, 2005 | Senay TOPCUOGLU
Interior Design is calling for interior and architecture submissions for a new design contest.
Entries for the Breakthrough International Design Awards competition will be accepted through January 6.
Categories include Completed Projects (not older than a year, several types accepted), Pieces and Parts, (including materials and products), and Incomplete Projects.
Winners will be featured in a special section of the March 2006 'Next Big Idea' issue and will be celebrated at a New York awards event in April 2006.
The magazine says it is searching for 'submissions that show us how a tradition has been set on its ear through a bold, unorthodox choice, how a thought so different killed a stagnant trend, how, through re-design, a retail client's flatlined revenue was resurrected.'
