Style it. Wear it. Love it: First Bluetooth Headset to Include a Selection of 33 Stylish Interchangeable Design Covers; Gives Users the Ability to Create Their Own Custom Designs

Jabra, a leading brand of hands-free communication products for the mobile consumer market, today announced the launch of the Jabra BT160 Bluetooth mobile headset, the first Bluetooth headset to come with 33 interchangeable design covers to suit any style. The new headset features a transparent removable cover that can be replaced with the various design covers, including Skull, T-Rex, Passion Flower, Love Red, Wild Kids, Pinstripe and many more. Users can now design their headset to match their mood, whatever the occasion.

The Jabra BT160 is affordably priced at a suggested retail price of $59. In addition to the designs included in the retail package, customers will be able to develop their own designs at www.jabra.com to accessorize their individual outfits, as well as enjoy swapping design ideas with friends. The possibilities are endless, whether users are wild, sporty or elegant, the Jabra BT160 has a look to match.

"The concept behind the Jabra BT160 was to create a headset that was functional, fashionable and above all fun. With 33 different designs already included in the pack and the ability to create designs of their own, users should never get bored with the look of their Bluetooth headsets," said David Hogan, senior vice president of Global Sales & Marketing for Jabra. "Customers are increasingly looking for new ways to stand out from the crowd. The Jabra BT160 provides an easy and affordable way of doing so as well as being practical," he said.

The Jabra BT160 has all the functionality necessary for hands-free mobile communication. It provides up to six hours of talk time, up to 110 hours of standby time and weighs just one-half ounce (16 grams). The Jabra BT160 features a standard answer/end call button and volume control, both conveniently located on the headset so users won't need to touch their mobile phones when answering calls and adjusting volumes. Additionally, by utilizing the enhanced functionality offered by the hands-free profile, users can voice-activate mobile phone calls and use last number redial for calling the party with whom they last spoke. Pairing is simple by pressing the answer/end and volume controls on the headset simultaneously for easy connectivity. The headset can be paired instantly with a Bluetooth mobile phone and supports Bluetooth 1.2.

The remaining 33 designs of patterns, colors and pictures (each with its own name) in the Jabra BT160 package are; Tango, Target, Mosaic, Sunflower, Zebra, Sundown, Turquoise, Royal Blue, Summer Cream, Powder Pink, Lime Spirit, Houndstooth, Rainbow, Versailles, Leopard, Autumn, Salmon, Glam Squares, Ladybug, Butterfly, Music, Swirl, Pink Orchid, Kiwi, White Orchid, Scotch and Red Velvet.
