Travel + Leisure Magazine Announces 2006 Design Awards Jury
Travel + Leisure magazine Editor-in-Chief Nancy Novogrod announces the jury of the Travel + Leisure 2006 Design Awards: Barbara Barry, Michael Kors, Richard Meier, Alice Rawsthorn, Calvin Tsao, and Angela Westwater. Travel + Leisure Contributing Design Editor Chee Pearlman is the jury panel moderator.
The Travel + Leisure Design Awards highlight the significance of design in the traveler's world and its impact on the travel experience. The 2006 Design Awards celebration will take place on February 15 at the Cedar Lake Theater in NYC. The winners, to be announced in early February, will be featured online at http://www.dexigner.com/directory/detail/7218.html and in the magazine's March issue, on newsstands February 21.

The jury's selection of winners for outstanding work in design and architecture during the past year spans fifteen categories: Best Public Space, Best Small Hotel, Best Large Hotel, Best Museum, Best Cultural Space, Best Restaurant, Best Retail Space, Best Resort, Best Spa, Best Travel Shoe, Best Packing System, Best Travel Electronic, Best Travel Watch, Best Travel Gadget, and Best Travel Clothing.
