Perfect Partners: Citroën and the Design Museum

February 21, 2006  |  Levent OZLER

Heralded as one of the most exciting cars of the New Year, the sublime and elegant Citroën C6 is set to link up with the Design Museum in London as part of a twelve-month relationship with the world famous institution.

The link between Citroën and the Design Museum will focus on a programme of talks and debates featuring some of the most inspiring figures in international design, as well as the prestigious Designer of the Year prize.

With its sleek, stylish looks already compared to those of the legendary and iconic Citroën DS, it comes as no surprise that the French manufacturer has chosen its flagship C6 as the focal point for its association with the Design Museum Talks.

Visitors to the Design Museum on London's South Bank can also view the stunning design lines of the Citroën C6 on display in the famous 'tank' outside the building at different times throughout the year.

Katie Galloway, Head of Development at the Design Museum, said: "We are delighted to welcome Citroën to the Design Museum Talks programme and look forward to working with them. Citroën has a wonderful design heritage dating all the way back to the Traction Avant in the 1930s and the DS 19 in the 1950s, which makes their association with the Design Museum very exciting."
