Peter Bonde: Danish Contemporary Painting

Peter Bonde (b. 1958) is one of Denmark's premier painters. With Peter Bonde - Danish Contemporary Painting, Arken presents a unique total installation in Arken's largest and most striking exhibition space, the Art Axis. Bonde often employs unorthodox methods when mounting his pictures in a room, taking them from the walls into the room to 'awaken' people, making them experience the art with body and mind. This exhibition sounds out Bonde's painting here and now while invoking Arken's dramatic architecture.
The exhibition will take place between 16 September 2006 and 14 January 2007.
