March 30, 2006  |  Zeynep Ugur Ayasbeyoglu

At Maranello, the Ferrari technical judging panel, headed by Luca Cordero di Montezemolo and Sergio Pininfarina, awarded prizes to five talented youngsters from the Istituto Europeo di Design of Turin, winners of the international contest promoted by Ferrari.

On Friday afternoon in Maranello, the prizes went to "Millechili" - by Luis Agullo Spottorno and Felix Hiller - and "Ascari" - by Manuele Amprimo, Werner Gruber and Yu Jae Cheul - two of the four concept winners of the "Ferrari: the new concepts of the myth" International Competition, promoted by Ferrari in January 2005 between the four best car design schools in the world (as well as IED Turin, the other competitors came from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit, the Coventry University - School of Art and Design and the Tokyo Communication Arts), with the participation of young car designers from 13 different countries.
