New Summer Camp Lets Kids Learn Video Game Design

April 14, 2006  |  Levent OZLER

Mildred Elley is offering a new video game design camp this summer at its Latham and Pittsfield, Mass., campuses.

The camp, created in response to increasing interest across the nation in video gaming and design, is for children in grades six through 10.

"This summer, we'll help students explore the world of video game production at a camp that is unlike any other," said Faith Takes, president and CEO of Mildred Elley and Empire Education Corp.

"Many students want to go beyond just playing video games and learn more about how to design and create their own.

This camp will allow them to explore those aspects of video gaming."
