New York's Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum will open a new design center today.
The Target National Design Education Center, on the ground floor of the design museum, will feature a 100-seat lecture room, design studio, and resource library.
Intended for design students of all ages, the new resources will service on-site lectures, panels, master classes, and hands-on workshops, "advancing Cooper-Hewitt's mission to engage the public in the design process," according to press material.
