Technology Visionary Osman Ozcanli Inspiring XXI Magazine Readers

Inventables' Technology Envisioner Osman Ozcanli has been invited by XXI Architecture, Design and Interiors Magazine to write about inspiring technologies. He will be contributing articles monthly, introducing readers to materials with unexpected properties such as gel magnets, shape memory polymers and self-healing films, and discussing concepts that could be made possible with these technologies.
XXI Magazine is published monthly in Turkey, of which Ozcanli is a native. Ozcanli said that he sees working with XXI Magazine as a great opportunity to connect with and inspire Turkish designers. Ozcanli and his concept team at Inventables were awarded the prestigious IDEA award in 2005 for an Origami DVD Player concept which utilized electronic ink as the enabling technology.

XXI Magazine contains trend analysis, new tendencies, new projects dealing with architectural design, interior design, landscape design, industrial design and graphic design both worldwide and Turkey wide, and reviews the potentials of these disciplines in Turkey. While discussing a subject of design agenda with a special dossier in each issue, XXI also features interviews, news about application of designs and products. Thereby considers design culture with participation of all actors by providing meeting of designer and producer, architect and user.
Inventables educates consumer product manufacturers like Herman Miller, Nike, Motorola, BMW and their design departments about new technologies and gives them inspiration for innovative product concepts.
