The First Annual Pixel Awards Call for Entries is Now Open

The Pixel Awards announced its 2006 inaugural call for entries today, June 1.
The Pixel Awards are the cutting-edge Web site award, annually honoring compelling sites in 20 unique categories that have shown excellence in web design and development.
"The goal when we launched this back in January was to change the landscape of online awards.
What MTV did for music and movie awards back in the '80s, that's what The Pixel Awards will do for the Web," said The Pixel Awards Founder, Erick Laubach.
Established in 2006, The Pixel Awards take a fresh look at the best on the Web.
The Pixel Awards are the cutting-edge Web site award, annually honoring 20 compelling sites that have shown excellence in web design and development.
Sites are submitted in 20 diverse categories, including the unique Geek, Las Vegas, and Vegetarian categories. Any site can enter.
Only 20 exceptional sites will win.
