Design, art and culture - the "red dot award: product design 2006" celebrates a sumptuous festivity in honour of creativity and the success of this year's award winners of the competition.
This day promises interesting and inspiring encounters with international guests from design, culture, business and politics.
The programme of events will already start in the afternoon with the opening of the special exhibition "Design on stage - winners red dot award: product design 2006".
All awarded products of the competition will be presented as well as the design team of the year 2006.
After the vernissage the ceremonial awards show will take place at the Aalto-Theater in Essen.
As a highlight of the evening the "red dot: design team of the year" will be honoured.
