The Chairbag by PS Lab

The Chairbag by PS Lab

July 14, 2006  |  Levent OZLER

The Chairbag is the solution for the threat of the rising sea level due to the melting polar ice.

The Chairbag is mostly inspired by the roughness of a good-looking buoy.

So if the North Sea will break through the dikes, all Dutch households are saved by their floating Chairbag.

Until then everybody will enjoy the look and feel of this state of the art design.

You can easily drop your soda on this water resisting chair, which makes it not only interesting for indoor use, but outdoors as well.

As an air-based product, the ch-AIRBAG isn't hard to handle.

Pick it up and give it your place.

The Chairbag is created by Dutch design start-up PS Lab.

PS Lab focuses on the physical aspects of products: material, function, form and colour.

In the current experience economy products are offered with extended (hi)stories that should give the consumers immaterial and emotional relief.

PS Lab wants to go beyond.

The only input PS Lab gives for this experience is the product in its material sense.

The result is that PS Lab products are for everyone who loves to dream and create their own stories.
