Heavenspot Creates Commercial Spot for American Racing

Heavenspot, a full service interactive agency located in Hollywood, California, has recently completed a 30 second commercial spot for the 50th Anniversary of American Racing. Contracted by Blue C. Communications, a traditional advertising agency located in Newport Beach, Heavenspot and Blue C. collaborated efforts to create an engaging and modern spot that would increase sales for the product line.

The spot includes cutting edge 3D animation, original photography, compelling sound design and progressive use of independent motion. American Racing is the mastermind behind popular wheel brands such as ATX, DUB TIS, Motegi and more. At the forefront of the car and lifestyle market, American Racing has always been a signature for car modification enthusiasts. "Motivated by the companies recent re-brand, American Racing wanted to create a spot that truly portrayed the lifestyle behind their consumer," says Seth Silver, Executive Producer of Heavenspot.

American Racing is revealing their new brand identity at "The Sema Show" 2006, the worlds largest car show. This commercial spot will be part of AR's re-branding campaign and will be showcased at the convention and television broadcasting channels throughout the United States.

Chevon Hicks, Creative Director of Heavenspot comments, "The project was designed to provide American Racing with an outlet to market their new 2007 product lines in a new and interesting way, ultimately driving increased awareness of what is to come for the new year. One of the key creative challenges was presenting the talent in a way that did not portray them as the focal point, but visually represented their stakes in the American Racing brand.

Work on the project began in September 2006 and was completed at the end of October 2006. All design, animation and production was completed in Heavenspot's Hollywood, CA, headquarters. Design & Animation for the project was completed in Photoshop CS2, IllustratorCS2, Flash 8, Shockwave, Maya 7.0 and 3D Studio Max 8.0.
