Art Institute exhibit puts a new face on works of art

The Art Institute of Chicago is hoping to attract a younger generation of art lovers with a new exhibit opening Saturday.
"Faces, Places and Inner Spaces," which will be on display for three years, is geared toward kids of all ages and features a colorful interactive environment exploring 11 major works of art. Each of the artworks was chosen from the museum's collection and they are displayed in individual settings that introduce visitors to diverse cultures, time periods and geographic regions including China, India, Ivory Coast, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, Peru and the United States.
