Design Contest Alcantara Every Day

To relate Alcantara via multiple interpretations, free its potential and observe the material from new angles.
The Alcantara Every Day design contest from November 8, 2006 to February 5, 2007 invites designers, architects and other creative types of any nationality and age to engage in the planning of an item for everyday use: at home, in the office, whilst travelling or during leisure time.
Objects, projects and ideas to make the world more comfortable and pleasant, and that share the characteristic of being made by using Alcantara.
The total prize-money is 15,000 euros, to be divided thus: 1st Prize 10,000 euros; 2nd Prize 4,000 euros; 3rd Prize 1,000 euros.
A prestigious jury chaired by Giulio Cappellini will evaluate the entered works and the 15 best proposals will be displayed in one of the exhibition spaces of the Zona Tortona Design 2007 event.
