Designmai Youngsters Festival 2007

Taking place in Berlin for the fifth year running, the Designmai and the Designmai Youngsters have succeeded in establishing themselves as one of the most significant design events in Germany.
Within this context, the DMY function as a unique platform for young and innovative design.
In the past four years, the DMY have discovered and introduced significant international and national contributions from art colleges all over the world.
The DMY's unconventional style, as well as the combination of exhibition and event have rapidly earned the DMY a reputation that reaches well beyond the German borders.
As a result, the Youngsters have been invited to present their work in Prague, Seoul and Tokyo, amongst others.
The Designmai 2007 theme is DIGITALABILITY.
Whilst the Designmai explore the core of the issue, the Youngsters position themselves at the crossroads to play their loud, exuberant games: DIGITAL
Through this theme, the DMY strive to define the limits of digital creation whilst establishing their position; furthermore, their goal is to explore new digital possibilities.
Parallel to the DMY exhibition in May 2007, we will once again be setting up a rich framework programme.
