Green By Design Sustainability SymposiumGreen by Design 2, a two-day sustainability symposium on September 28 and 29, 2005, that will focus on innovative ways for companies to develop, manufacture and distribute eco-effective products and services.
The symposium will highlight:
New, sustainable technologies and resources
Environmental activities in emerging markets
Next steps in LEED development
The future of business environments
The symposium's keynote speakers include Robert F. Kennedy Jr., environmental lawyer, who was named one of Time magazine's "Heroes for the Planet," and Tom Chappell, co-founder of Tom's of Maine.
Chappell's company produces innovative, natural care products and has been named one of the best U.S. companies for working mothers by Working Mother magazine and one of the Top 10 healthiest companies by Health Magazine.
