This workshop attempts to condense into a week the rudimentary abstraction exercises developed in the Pratt Industrial Design program 50 years ago.
This concentrated studio workshop is designed for designers and alumni looking to turbocharge their formgiving talents, teachers looking for techniques and teaching tips, and students wanting to feel the third dimension. The series of exercises developed at Pratt have become the foundation of many industrial design education programs, and the method of analysis also applies to architecture, graphic design, and art.
