2004 Industrial Designers Society of America National Conference and Design GalleryThe Pasadena Center will be home to the 2004 Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) National Conference & Design Gallery, themed "Utopian Realities," October 27-30.
In addition to the A-list of speakers, this year's attendees will be able to create and race their own cars in the Nike Unlimited Derby, witness the legendary IDSA Fight Club debate-a raw, down and dirty, no-holds barred, free-for-all, verbal slugfest-and party with rock legend Dave Mason.
BMW Group Director of Design Chris Bangle's opening presentation will throw the event into high-gear, and presentations from such luminaries as Shiro Nakamura, Senior Vice President, Design Director, for Nissan Motor Co., and Frank Nuovo, Vice President & Chief Designer of Nokia's Mobile Phones in Southern California will keep the speed up.
