The International Contemporary Furniture Fair Open Call For Design Schools EntriesThe International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) will be held Saturday, May 14-Tuesday, May17, 2005 at New York City's Jacob K. Javits Convention Center.
George Little Management, LLC (GLM), producer and manager of the ICFF announces an open call for entries - deadline, December 1, 2004 - from design schools for consideration for 6 spots at the ICFF.
Entries must hold a description of a topic, a singular concept with original products and prototypes designed by students to be exhibited at the ICFF.
Submissions will be reviewed and judged by editors from the following international design publications and sponsors of the ICFF: Abitare, Domus, Frame, Interni, Intramuros, andWallpaper*.
GLM will provide each of the 6 schools with a 200 square foot (18 square meter) booth space including white hard-wall modular unit, birch floor, name sign, and waste bin - arrangements, costs of labor, lighting, and shipping to be the school's responsibility.
The schools elected for participation will be announced December 15, 2004.
For consideration, submit: a completed Entry Form; 5 sets of a description of a topic, a singular concept to be exhibited at the Fair; and supporting information on no more than 5 sheets (no larger than 9x12 inches/23x31 centimeters).
