 PDT Recognized for Producing Superior Product DesignsProduct Development Technologies, a division of TZ Limited, has been honored with four 2009 ADEX Awards including three Platinum and one Gold.Among the list are the Bretford Flat Panel Mounting Display, Fellowes P-58cs Shredder and Cobra XRS 9940 Radar detector with platinum and the Fellowes Galaxy-E binder with gold. "Winning four ADEX awards demonstrates how the power of a cohesive team in a dynamic culture can make a difference," commented Bob Coon, PDT's Industrial Design Director. Focusing on user centered product development rather than simple design is a more difficult road to take but is ultimately rewarded by deeper, more successful solutions." Four of PDT's products were gleaned from thousands of entries and earned the coveted ADEX Award based on a force-ranking of form, function and fitness for a particular purpose. The number of companies entered in this years' awards program increased by more than 22 percent. The contest was the most competitive to date, with each company entering an average of 4.2 products into the competition. The ADEX Awards were judged by an anonymous panel of professionals representing a cross section of the design industry.
