Engelbrechts celebrated the Kevi chair's 50th anniversary last year. 2.5 million chairs have been produced since it was designed, making it one of the most popular pieces of office furniture of all time. The Kevi chairs were originally produced by a company that was also called Kevi, until it was acquired by Fritz Hansen A/S. At the beginning of 2008, Jorgen Rasmussen transferred the Kevi production to the Danish company Engelbrechts A/S, which is now responsible for product development and international marketing. The Kevi chair rests on a five-legged satin-polished aluminium swivel base. It has automatic height adjustment and manual adjustment of the backrest angle. The seat and backrest are made of 9 mm varnished moulded veneer. more www.eng... (61) added by Levent OZLER |
