 DesignNu Award Trophy Design by Form Us with LoveDesignNu is a newly founded price that rewards outstanding Swedish design biannually.The organization behind the prize is called "Formmuseets vanner", the organization has been working for over a century for a Design Museum in Stockholm. The trophy has been designed by Form Us With Love and the main idea is to allow the winner to mold as many trophies as he/she likes. A commentary on the strive for prizes and recognition in the design world, as well as a statement on material waste.  Kia Ceed First Korean Car to Earn Design for Environment AwardKia Motors Corporation has been presented with two significant international certificates which confirm that the design and manufacturing processes behind the successful Kia Ceed are indeed "environment friendly".The globally-recognised, German-based Tuv Nord presented Kia with a DFE (Design for Environment) and a LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) environment certificate at a special ceremony in Seoul after rigorous inspection of the company's design and manufacturing operations at Zilina in Slovakia.  City Move Interdesign: Call for EntriesIn the northern part of Sweden the mining industry continues to expand and, in certain areas, the ground is crumbling under entire cities.This poses enormous challenges to the survival of such communities and may force their residents to relocate - leaving behind their homes, workplaces, public spaces and local attractions.
