Designboost 07 is the first in a series of annual books that in words, pictures and moving media describes the work of the knowledge company Designboost.
"Designboost 07" is built on the vision "sharing design knowledge" with different texts about sustainable design from Designboost "boosters" and friends.
Among the contributors you will find acclaimed personalities like Mathilda Tham - professor at Beckmans College of design, Sean Pillot de Chenecey - consumer insight and brand development, Kristina Börjesson - PhD research associate/Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, Tim Power - architect and Jennifer Leonard - designer researcher and writer/IDEO (among others).
"Designboost 07" also brings forward all the one-liner quotes about sustainable design written by the participants at the main event that took place in Malmo October 17-19, 2007.
On top of this different conceptualizations of sustainable design by a range of international design driven companies are presented.
At the end of the book a DVD is inserted with movies about Designboost and its activities.
There is also filmed interviews with all the participants at the 2007 main event.

Joe Gebbia's series "Untitled" is an insight and intervention into the publishing industry.
Taking the blank galley proof and presenting it as a single unique object.
This piece offers a way of looking, at objects, at recycling at the value of error and how artistic intervention brings insight and new value to the world we live in.
Gebbia says "the books are uniquely one-of-a-kind, blank canvases to fill with their own values, creativity, and commentary on what constitutes art and design".
Each book is unique 1/1, devoid of all text and print, it is a pre-production draft from the publishing industry.
By generating only a single book, it subverts mass production practice and becomes a craft object.
These simple and beautiful series of books, with their title and authorship lost, act like an unopened present, leaving the door to your imagination ajar.
By celebrating the vessel-the book as object - Untitled explores new ways of seeing our world and the objects in it, reminding us of the power and beauty of the object and its ability to represent ideas.

The European Environmental Bureau and the Swedish Society for Nature Conservation launched a report exploring opportunities for an EU approach to "ecodesign", a concept that products and services should be safe for people and the environment as a fundamental element of a sustainable society.
As scepticism about a voluntary approach to ecodesign grows even within the industry sector, the new study calls for more strategic links between policy tools, including sustainability criteria on specific products and information provision on sustainability issues.
The study, "Forcing Products to Go Green?" is being launched with a view to influencing the European Commission's finalisation of the Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP) and Sustainable Industrial Policy (SIP) Action Plans.
Doreen Fedrigo, EEB Policy Unit Coordinator, said: "It's obvious that Western industrialised societies need to change their consumption and production patterns, but there is a real lack of inspiration in how to go about it.
Ecodesign needs to become the leading factor in developing the products of the future and we're pleased there is finally broader support for a legislative approach.
However, we question the Commission's focus on process in the Action Plan packages when we need a more honest debate on why we consume and produce the way we do.
The Action Plans, sadly, won't deliver this policy path, but will at least open the door to such urgent discussions.
The interesting part is yet to come."
