The latest model in the luxury motoryacht range created by the famous Italian shipyard is ready to go on display in Milan in a setting that is truly out of the ordinary.
In the heart of the city centre's most picturesque district that takes you back to the time when waterways, in this case the Navigli canals, were the main thoroughfares to the city, Pershing is about to present an exciting world preview of the new Pershing 64'.
And for the entire duration of the Milan Furniture Show, the craft will be moored on the Naviglio Grande canal, in front of the historical Vicolo dei Lavandai.
With the launch of the Pershing 64', the company once again demonstrates its ability to be ahead of the times even in the design sphere thanks to its revolutionary forms and styles that have anticipated and often defined new trends in the luxury yacht sector.
The Pershing 64' is a yacht that boasts revolutionary features and a remarkable interior design that harmoniously combines ultimate style with the latest technology.

How Indian Industry is managing quality?
Given the dynamic, borderless world, with an extremely discerning customer at every level, product design and development is assuming an ever more important role in the future success of companies.
At present, customers demand greater product variety and quickly shift to new, innovative products.
Their purchase decisions are based on factors that are affected by product design.
Earlier, customers made purchase decisions based primarily on product price and/or quality.
While these factors are still important, customers are looking at other dimensions, too, such as customisability, order-to-delivery time, product safety and ease and cost of maintenance.
Especially in India, the business scenario has undergone a 10X change.
Five years ago, industrial customers expected delivery once a day; now they demand 20 shipments a day.
Earlier, they expected six new products to be developed in a year; today they expect 11.

Chipchase is 38, a rangy native of Britain whose broad forehead and high-slung brows combine to give him the air of someone who is quick to be amazed, which in his line of work is something of an asset.
For the last seven years, he has worked for the Finnish cellphone company Nokia as a "human-behavior researcher." He's also sometimes referred to as a "user anthropologist." To an outsider, the job can seem decidedly oblique.
His mission, broadly defined, is to peer into the lives of other people, accumulating as much knowledge as possible about human behavior so that he can feed helpful bits of information back to the company - to the squads of designers and technologists and marketing people who may never have set foot in a Vietnamese barbershop but who would appreciate it greatly if that barber someday were to buy a Nokia.
What amazes Chipchase is not the standard stuff that amazes big multinational corporations looking to turn an ever-bigger profit.
Pretty much wherever he goes, he lugs a big-bodied digital Nikon camera with a couple of soup-can-size lenses so that he can take pictures of things that might be even remotely instructive back in Finland or at any of Nokia's nine design studios around the world.
Almost always, some explanation is necessary.

AgustaWestland announced that the first two helicopters fitted with Versace-styled interiors have been delivered to their customers during an official ceremony held at its Vergiate plant.
The two aircraft comprising a Grand light twin turbine engine helicopter featuring a black and white interior and paint scheme and an AW109 Power light twin with a grey-coloured Versace-styled interior, ordered by Ioan Tiriac Air of Romania and Elimarca of Italy respectively, were formally accepted by the customers.
AgustaWestland and leading Italian fashion design house Versace first announced their collaboration to offer AgustaWestland's customers a range of exclusively designed cabin interiors for its helicopters in 2007.
Following the launch of the Grand with Versace styled interior and paint scheme in 2007, AgustaWestland and Versace further strengthened their collaboration in February this year adding the AW139 to the range of helicopters to offer an even wider range of design solutions to provide the most luxurious and stylish helicopter interiors.

OSRAM and celebrated lighting designer Ingo Maurer have unveiled a revolutionary lighting application based on organic LEDs (OLEDs) at the Light+Building Fair in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
Ingo Maurer is the first to use OLEDs from OSRAM in a functioning table light.
The limited-edition light, known as "Early Future," shines with tiles directly from the OSRAM laboratory and demonstrates the enormous potential of using OLEDs to create future applications with eye-catching illumination and design elements.
OSRAM Opto Semiconductors made prototypes of organic light emitting diodes available to the designer for his exclusive creation.
"We are proud that our OLEDs have inspired such a renowned artist as Ingo Maurer to create such an exciting work of art.
'Early Future' is a vision that has become reality. It gives us a glimpse of just how versatile organic OLEDs can be in terms of their design options and applications," said Martin Goetzeler, CEO of OSRAM.
Ingo Maurer used OLED tiles with an area of 132 x 33 millimeters for his creation.
For Maurer, unusual design is not an end in itself.
"'Early Future' represents an important stage in the transition from abstract object to functional designer lighting," he said.
