DMI's 11th European Design Management Conference to be Held in CopenhagenExploring the challenging topic of "Improving and Measuring Design's Role in Business Performance", The Design Management Institute (DMI), will hold its 11th European Design Management Conference on 14-16 March in Copenhagen, Denmark.
DMI is planning to expand upon content developed from a conference held last fall in Vermont, but with an international perspective.
Business executives, design directors and design managers are asked more and more often to provide improvement and measurement of design and design management effectiveness, in order to achieve desired business results.
Until now, there have been few consolidated efforts to capture and share knowledge about this very important issue.
Attendees will benefit by learning exactly how one measures and improves the role of design and design management in achieving business success.
"Every business should be working towards improving their design effectiveness.
But, this is easier said than done.
Bringing together a team of international experts, we will explore new areas to help the design community at large answer some of their most difficult questions and challenges," states DMI President Thomas Lockwood.
DMI chose to hold the conference in Copenhagen because Danish design continues to be at the forefront of design inspiration.
