Dutch Design Week 2007The sixth edition of Dutch Design Week, the largest design event in the Netherlands, takes place in Eindhoven from October 20 through October 28, 2007.
During this week, Eindhoven will be the dynamic design centre of the Netherlands, offering the visitors an enlightening overview of all aspects of Dutch Design.
During Dutch Design Week (DDW), virtually all design disciplines ranging from product design, graphic design, and spatial design to brand design, textile design, and fashion design are represented in more than 40 large and smaller venues across the city.
Besides established bureaus and high-profile designers, also up-and-coming talents and recently graduated designers feature prominently in DDW.
The event will therefore provide an overall view of the state of affairs in Dutch Design.
DDW distinguishes itself from other design events in the Netherlands through its focal points of interest: developing knowledge, gaining inspiration, and building up networks in an informal atmosphere.
DDW addresses various target groups such as the national and international design community, trade and industry, and the public at large.
The DDW programme comprises more than one hundred constituents including exhibitions, lectures, workshops, conferences, company visits, and a number of parties.
