The combination of a well-known manufacturer and a big-name designer leads us to believe that a new product's utility has been well resolved. Whether you like it is, finally, only an issue of taste. Karim Rashid's new collection for kitchenware manufacturer COPCO illustrates some of the minor dangers of this complacency. Consistent with the visual language that has made Rashid's work so recognizable, this collection of beverage containers and barware reasserts the Karim brand. But does it advance much more?
