Citroen C Design CompetitionCitroen has launched the first edition of the "C Design - Combine Connect Create" online competition, open to designers from all over the world. Participants are required to create every-day products by combining parts from Citroen cars, available as 3D files.
Citroën's first edition of "C Design - Combine Connect Create" is open to all designers without limitations of age or nationality, and takes place exclusively on-line.
The brief of the competition is to "design products for everyday life using three-dimensional components of mechanics and car bodies (coming from cars and prototypes) put at the disposal of Style Center Citroën."
Components are available for download in severeal 3D formats (.3dm, .3ds, .max, .obj) as zipped archives.
Based on the competition, an exhibition will be organized in Milan (Italy) during the Salone del Mobile 2008 week, presenting prototypes and designs of the most interesting projects.
The prize awarding ceremony will take place during this exhibition.
