Call for Papers for DMI Paris Education Conference: Design ThinkingThe Design Management Institute (DMI), in collaboration with Lancaster University, UK; ESSEC Business School, France; and SDA Bocconi School of Management, Italy; is pleased to announce an International Education Conference, Design Thinking: New Challenges for Designers, Managers and Organizations.
The conference will take place 14-15 April, 2008 at ESSEC Business School in Paris, La Défense.
DMI invites paper proposals by 21 December, 2007.
DMI invites researchers and practitioners from academia, businesses, government agencies, or other parties to submit a paper proposal that covers the overarching theme of design thinking and design and innovation management education, including those focused on theory-building and empirical research as well as case studies.
The program will comprise keynote presentations, panel discussions with key opinion-formers in the field, full paper presentations, and poster sessions of less developed and work in progress papers.
Design Thinking will be chaired by Dr. Thomas Lockwood, President, DMI and supported by Dr. Sabine Junginger, Lecturer of Product Design and Design Management, Lancaster University.
The committee includes Dr. Rachel Cooper, Director, Lancaster University; Dr. Hervé Mathe, Professor, ESSEC Business School; Dr. Brigitte Borja de Mozota, Senior Lecturer, Brunel University; and Gabriella Lajocono, Professor, SDA Bocconi School of Management.
