Design Council Appoints New Head of CommunicationsThe Design Council has appointed the former Chief Media Officer of Greenpeace International, Nigel Campbell, as its new Head of Communications.
Nigel previously worked for a number of years as producer of regional current affairs programmes for BBC Radio, and prior to this in the PR agency sector, most recently as Corporate Account Director in Weber Shandwick's broadcast division.
"I am thrilled to be part of an amazingly dynamic and creative team, which is making huge strides in nurturing and promoting Britain's design innovation, which will shape all of our futures.
Design is an incredibly exciting sector to be in, and the Design Council is the epicentre of championing its role in business and society," he commented.
