Increasingly competitive and global climate of the third millennium inevitably leads organizations into new directions, in which we have to adapt to a new understanding of doing business.
In this context, structures of the old are being abolished and replaced with new phenomena, highlighted by the concept of sustainable value chains.
A perspective of value chain sustainability obviously calls on businesses to recognize the importance of integration of all activities and operations undertaken inside and outside the boundaries of the organization.
