Design Awards 2009: The Winners

Wallpaper*, the international design, fashion and lifestyle bible, is today publishing its annual Design Awards issue, the biggest-selling edition of the magazine.

It is celebrating the issue and winners of the fifth Design Awards with a party in Paris, co-hosted by musician and Design Awards judge Kanye West.

This year's Design Awards include more than 70 categories with winners drawn from across the globe.

Categories range from Best Business Jet, Best Sofa and Best Ceramics to Best Women's Shoes, Best Spa and even Best Sink.

The winners of the International Judges' Awards are featured in a 20-page winners' portfolio in the magazine, which includes the judges in cameo roles.

Wallpaper* website will also include video interviews with all the judges.

"The Design Awards are our annual pat on the back to the people and places that have made our year that extra bit special," said Tony Chambers, Wallpaper* editor-in-chief.

"And this year we've been helped out by a panel of judges which is arguably our most talented and eclectic yet.

The Design Awards issue is our most eagerly anticipated edition and this year's certainly won't disappoint.'
